Find the right moving CRM — MoverFuel marketing systems guide

The best CRM for a moving company is the one your sales and operations teams can use from the first inquiry through the completed move. SmartMoving, MoversTech, Elromco, Supermove, Movegistics and MoveitPro all deserve a place in that conversation, but their packages, contracts and implementation questions differ. Start with your operating requirements, then use a consistent demo to narrow the field.

Compare the shortlist by workflow and commercial terms

The table summarizes the six official sources linked below. A missing public price means we did not find a standard numeric base price on the reviewed page; it does not mean the vendor has no pricing elsewhere. The order is a shortlist, not a scored ranking. [1] [2] [3] [4] [5] [6]

MoversTechYou need configurable workflows and may add branches or storageRequest a current quote; no numeric price in reviewed plans pageWhich requirements need Professional?

Shortlist two or three products against the same requirements. Comparing every feature in every platform can obscure the small number of differences that will actually change how your team works.

What to investigate in each moving CRM

SmartMoving: check plan access and integration depth

SmartMoving's pricing page groups capabilities into Smart Growth and Smart Pro. It covers sales, estimates, dispatch and other operating workflows. The page labels Smart Pro as available for pre-sale, so ask what is usable now versus scheduled for later. It distinguishes incoming Lead API access, read-only Open API access and a Premium API with read/write access and outbound webhooks. [1]

Demo test: submit an inquiry from a test website form, change its estimate and booking status, then inspect the resulting data. Ask the salesperson to identify the exact plan, add-on and delivery date for each step. A logo on an integrations page is less useful than seeing the fields you need arrive correctly.

MoversTech: examine the boundary between Growth and Professional

MoversTech lists dispatch, digital contracts, inventory, payment tracking, crew mobile access and website or lead-provider API connections in Growth. Professional adds capabilities including storage billing, multiple branches, payroll and advanced reports. Its plans page describes flexible plan changes without long-term contracts; obtain a written price and agreement for your configuration. [2]

Demo test: have an estimator revise a job after an inventory change, then hand it to dispatch. If you use storage or more than one branch, include those steps before judging whether the lower package is sufficient. Confirm which customization your staff can maintain without vendor assistance.

Elromco: model the real user and location count

Elromco publishes Professional at $289 per month with three office users, unlimited crew and one company/location. Enterprise is $399 per month with unlimited office users and custom integration/API capabilities; additional branches are listed at $99 each. The page describes monthly terms without a setup fee. Text allowances differ, so confirm excess usage and optional services before comparing totals. [3]

Demo test: run the same prospect through an estimate, dispatch change and customer communication. Then show the vendor your expected office staffing and branches. A transparent base price is helpful, but the useful comparison is the complete configuration your business will actually use.

Supermove: define the scope of the suite

Supermove presents a connected platform spanning sales, dispatch, finance and AI products. Its reviewed homepage does not provide a standard public base price. Ask for a proposal that names the included products, implementation work, support and any usage-based charges rather than treating the whole product family as one subscription. [4]

Demo test: follow one inquiry through the sales and operational handoffs, including an exception such as a changed move date. If evaluating an AI feature, use an approved test scenario and inspect escalation to a person, permissions and the record it leaves. A polished demonstration alone cannot establish performance on your calls.

Movegistics: follow the inventory and crew handoff

Movegistics describes moving CRM and estimates alongside dispatch, crew mobile tools, inventory and storage functionality. Its product material also presents AI-assisted inventory capabilities. A scoped demonstration and quote are needed to establish what is included for your company and which modules or services cost extra. [5]

Demo test: move an estimate into dispatch, have a crew member update the job and then reconcile the final inventory and charge. For warehouse work, test a storage-in and storage-out scenario. Ask to see the customer record after those changes, not just each screen in isolation.

MoveitPro+: distinguish installment billing from contract length

MoveitPro+ lists 12-, 24- and 36-month agreements. Its 12-month option is $449 per month when billed monthly or a displayed $382 monthly equivalent when the term is prepaid. The base includes two office admins and one branch. Crew view-only access is free; the optional Pro App is listed at $20 per crew user per month. Additional office users and branches cost extra. [6]

Demo test: separate office, driver and crew permissions, then price the access each role needs. Ask for the total due over the agreement, renewal terms and an export demonstration. A lower prepaid equivalent is a cash-flow and commitment decision, not automatically the cheapest operating choice.

Choose requirements before choosing a winner

A small local mover and a company with storage, interstate work and several branches can reach different conclusions from the same shortlist. Write down what must work on day one. Treat a missing requirement as a decision to resolve, rather than averaging it away inside a long feature score.

A practical requirements sheet
Operating needEvidence to requestWhat should be written down
Local hourly movesEstimate revision, minimums and final job reconciliationSupported pricing rules and approval workflow
Long-distance workYour inventory, documentation and charge workflowWhat the software supports and what still needs a separate process
StorageRecurring billing and inventory location changesIncluded module, limits and reconciliation process

Marketing attributionSource fields retained through a booked and completed jobFields, identifiers, API rights and export format

Software capabilities do not establish that your rates or documents meet every obligation in your market. Supply your actual requirements and have the appropriate person review them. Do not accept a generic feature label as validation of your business's configuration.

For the marketing portion of that requirements sheet, use our moving CRM integration checklist and lead-source field guide.

Run the same end-to-end demo with every finalist

Prepare a fictional test move with realistic requirements and no customer personal data. Ask each vendor to work through it live. Give your estimator, dispatcher and office manager a chance to use the relevant steps; a buyer's opinion cannot substitute for the people who will operate the system.

  • Create a lead with service area, date, source, campaign and a unique inquiry identifier.
  • Revise the inventory and estimate without losing the original source or creating an unrelated customer.
  • Send a quote, record follow-up and book the job with an assigned crew.
  • Change the date, update the customer and inspect what dispatch sees.
  • Complete the job, reconcile the final amount and distinguish booked from completed revenue.
  • Export the record and show how failed or duplicate integrations are identified.

Record each result as demonstrated, documented, needs configuration or unavailable. Ask who owns configuration and what happens when a connection fails. Keep a short list of unresolved items with written answers before signing. This produces a much stronger comparison than a subjective star rating.

Compare total cost, implementation and exit conditions

Build the cost comparison over the same period for all finalists. Include subscription commitments, extra users, branches, crew apps, storage or AI modules, communications usage, payment-related charges, migration, training and any third-party connection costs. Separate one-time expenses from recurring ones and distinguish a quoted cost from an unanswered question.

For example, a hypothetical $400 monthly subscription plus a $1,200 one-time migration would total $6,000 over twelve months before other charges. That illustration is not a vendor quote. Its purpose is to prevent a lower base subscription from hiding the expense or effort of switching.

Before migration, agree which historical contacts, jobs, notes, documents and source fields will move. Test a sample export and import, reconcile record counts and financial fields, and keep access to the old records until the migration is accepted. Choose a cutover window your office can support, rather than assuming a quiet sales demo means a painless implementation.

Our data export checklist covers ownership and access questions that also matter when changing systems. Pair it with a CRM-specific inventory of your customer and job data.

Make the final decision around demonstrated fit

Choose the product that meets your essential workflows, has commercial terms you can accept and gives your team a workable adoption plan. Ask the preferred vendor to attach the agreed scope to the proposal. Assign an internal owner for setup, training, source-field consistency and the first reporting reconciliation.

A CRM can help organize the path from inquiry to completed move. It cannot, by itself, create demand, qualify every caller or ensure your team follows up. Treat the system as part of an operating process with clear responsibilities, then review where that process still breaks.

Common questions

Which moving CRM is best for a small moving company?

Start with your essential workflow, office users and affordable total commitment. Elromco offers a published monthly starting point, while the other finalists warrant scoped quotes and demos. Choose after testing your estimate, dispatch and follow-up process; company size alone does not determine the winner.

Does a monthly CRM price mean I can cancel every month?

No. Monthly billing can be an installment schedule within a longer agreement. Compare the term, renewal, cancellation rules and prepaid amount as well as the displayed monthly figure.

Has MoverFuel hands-on tested all six CRMs?

No. This comparison reviews public vendor documentation and provides an original evaluation framework. It does not certify integrations or claim first-hand use of every product.

Can I keep using my current CRM with a new marketing agency?

Often the first task is to inspect the existing workflow rather than replace it. Confirm form delivery, call records, source fields, booked-job status and export access. A specific connection still needs technical verification and the right account permissions.

Your next step

Use public feature lists to create a shortlist, then decide with a repeatable demo, a complete cost comparison and a documented migration plan. The best fit is the system your team can operate and measure reliably.
